On Sunday November, 27th the annual PK Cup Cricket match was contested at the College, between two teams of Old Boys and Friends of the College.
This event which is staged each year in memory of the late Phillip Kennedy (Class of 1992). ‘PK’ as he was known suffered from a mental health issue which culminated in him taking his own life.
The PK Cup which is coordinated by PK’s classmates Michael Harries and Alex Quin, aims to raise awareness of Men’s mental health issues and to also generate much needed funds for equipment at Graylands Hospital.
This year the crowd of over 150 spectators and friends of ‘PK’ raised in excess of $10,000 for the purchase of new gym equipment for the hospital.
